Sven Kesselring is a sociologist and a leading authority on mobility. He is Research professor in sustainable mobility at Nürtingen-Geislingen University, Germany and the head of mobilities research at the Munich-based Innovationsmanufaktur GmbH. Prof. Kesselring is also the director of the "Mobilities Research and Education Centre (more)". Since 2004 he is the co-founder and the speaker of the Cosmobilities Network, a global network of mobility researchers which supports social science based mobilities research.

His main research interests are the social impact of company mobility management and mobile work and on the social and political effects that new network technologies have on urban mobility and urban mobility policy.
